How It Works
One platform. Every step.
From worldbuilding to the final roll, a campaign moves through five stages — and in Etournal they are one connected pipeline, not five separate apps. Build something once and it flows all the way to game night. Change it anywhere and it updates everywhere.

Step 1
Build Your World
Start with the place your stories will live.
Create locations, NPCs, factions, lore and history in a world that reads like a beautiful wiki and edits like a page builder. Pick from four complete rule systems, then bend the rules to fit: your world carries its own copy of the rulebook, so homebrew races, custom feats and house-ruled monsters layer cleanly over the official content.

Step 2
Write Your Adventure
Turn the world into a story your table can play.
The Module Builder is where the book gets written — chapters, typed scenes, cast, places, encounters, maps and handouts, all drawn from the world you already built. Scenes unlock as story flags flip, so player choices genuinely matter. AI Studio can draft parts, scenes, NPCs or a whole module — and everything it proposes waits for your review before it lands.

Step 3
Prepare Your Session
Walk to the table knowing exactly where you stand.
Five guided steps get one game night ready. It opens with the story so far — what is done, what is live, what comes next, plus open threads from last session — then checks tonight’s areas, encounters and party sheets. A single soft verdict tells you what is shallow and links straight to the fix. It guides; it never blocks.

Step 4
Run Your Game
The GM Panel becomes your command center.
Everything you prepped is loaded and live: initiative, combat, maps, sheets, NPCs, handouts and notes in one screen. Type what happened and Scribe writes the prose you read aloud — grounded in your real party, your real places, your real story. Keeper quietly journals every important beat so the campaign remembers itself.

Step 5
Play Together
Your players see a beautiful, honest table.
Present maps with tokens, walls, true line-of-sight and paintable fog. Reveal handouts when the moment lands. Roll 3D physics dice — or type in what your physical dice rolled and let the engine adjudicate it. Players join free, see exactly what you have shown them and nothing more, and the whole night flows from the world you built in step one.
